Aye-Aye shipmates,
Just two weeks to go until two crews of Visa-GB sailors take on one rather bold land-lubber to race around the island of Mallorca.
Friend of Visa-GB, James Barlow, will attempt to become the first person to run the entire 400 KM coastline in just five days!
As if running one and a half London Marathons a day weren’t enough of a challenge he will also be racing against two Visa-GB yachts who will be attempting to get to Palma, the halfway point, faster than James.
Then to try and beat him back to the start point of Porta Pollenca. Not as easy as it sounds as the sailors will need to cover twice the distance up, down and across the wind, James is battling mountains and winding coastal roads. Who will be first to Palma? Who’ll get back to the Port first, last one in buys the beers!
James is taking on this incredible challenge to raise funds for two charities, Visa-GB and the European Blind European (EBU).
You can read why James wants to do this, by following the link: https://www.instagram.
It would be great if family and friends would add their financial support for James and Visa-GB, you can do this at:

There can’t be many fundraising events that require so much training. There’s a support crew, a camper-van, a drone pilot, and 65 friends flying in to join the finish-line party!
If you are doing something to raise awareness or fundraising for Visa, however adventurous or modest please tell us about it at:

May your sails always be full and your bottom free of weed. Ready about, fair winds, cheers to you all.
From Adrian and all the Mallorca crew.
