Linda was born into a family heavily into motor boating on the river Thames. Summer holidays were spent from the age of 4 exploring Holland, France and Belgium with her family.
Move on several years and her son learnt to dinghy sail and decided she would like to try sailing, Linda said ‘I am not sure if that is moving from or to the Dark Side!’
Linda loved it so took her RYA qualifications and teaches sailing, but also decided to volunteer to Skipper yachts for charities.
Linda has done many miles sailing including crossing the South Atlantic and North Pacific Oceans.Linda said ‘have enjoyed Off Shore racing, but also like cruising.’
Day to day Linda is a Physiotherapist working in a Performing Arts School where she tries to keep the dancers dancing!
